The #1 Recipe for The BEST Crêpes EVER!! 🥞
I know you love crêpes if you clicked on this recipe. Don't worry; you'll not be dissapointed! I have compiled different crêpe recipes and researched different techniques to make sure you will get the best result ever! I'll also put a bunch of things you can add inside to make it scrumptious to the max. What are you waiting for? Let's get into it!
Ingredients for Outside:
2 Large Eggs
1 1/4 Cup of Warm Milk
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
2 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Melted Butter
1/4 Pinch of Salt
Your first step is to get all the items needed. Done? Great! I hope you have a hand, because its needed to make these delicious crêpes! Anyways, the second step is to pour all the liquid ingredients inside a blender. Before the solid ones, yes. The butter, milk, and eggs should be inside your blender.
Add the solid ingredients to the blender. Then, blend! Make sure there are no chunks inside your blender. You really don't want a chunky crêpe! The third step is to pour the mixture into the pan. Not all at once; you're going to make a few crêpes with this recipe!
Please note that since crêpes are thin, they cook very quickly. Keep an eye on your crêpe at all times! Once you believe one side is golden and crispy, flip it. When this side is done, plop it into a plate. When you're done making all the crêpes, let them cool for a while. You can add whatever you want into these ridiculously easy recipe.
But being the kind person I am, I will give you ideas of what to fill your crêpe, because I would never cheat you. If you wanted to make a sweet crêpe, I'd recommend whipped cream, fruits, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce, chocolate chips, Nutella, and honey. Here's how to make strawberry sauce, because I know how to make it, but nothing else! (Skip this recipe to see savory add-ins)
Ingredients:
Strawberries, cut into halves
1/2 cup brown sugar
This recipe is relatively simple, needing only two ingredients. And a skillet! Take your little handy-dandy skillet-thing, and put your strawberries in. Turn to medium heat. Add only some of your sugar, and let it simmer. Mix it with a spatula slowly. When it starts to thicken, turn the heat to low-medium. Add more of your sugar. Keep moving the spatula. After about two minutes, turn off the heat. Pour into a cup, and chill for about ten minutes. Done! You have made a delicious strawberry jam/sauce!
Ok, now back to our crêpe recipe. Savory add-ins may include ham, cheese, grilled vegetables, eggs, onions, potatoes, and if you wanted it to seem like a taco, a dressing! I have a really easy and simple fried potato recipe here, if you wanted to add that in.
I hope you enjoyed making your crêpes as much as I loved writing this article, and with that being said, see you guys in my next article! Also, make sure you look at my strawberry sauce and chocolate sauce recipe, which could both go amazingly with these crêpes!
