2 Animal Shelters to Volunteer at in Seattle! (For Kids Ages 9+)
Hello, my chocolatey friends. Leafy Kitten Coco here! Do you love animals? Do you want to volunteer at some shelters, for free, to help these poor creatures? I sure do! Since I just found an animal shelter I want to volunteer at, I decided to share my find with you, because I know that it is a little tricky finding areas to volunteer at a shelter for your kids. Let's get on with this!
RASKC Animal Shelter
This place allows your children (or you!) to volunteer when you turn nine! Fun duties like making cat toys and blankets, showing people the cats (in the cat meet & greet), feeding the animals, and more! Maybe even foster and fall in love with an animal and adopt!
PAWS Animal Shelter
This shelter can't let children younger than sixteen work with the animals, but if you're nine, you can help, too! I just can't find what it says you can do, but it's there somewhere, where it says what to do when you're a tween. (9 - 12) Of course you can do all sorts of other fun stuff!
Alright, my friends, that was all I could find, but I hope your child (or you), has fun at the shelter he or she will volunteer at. Or potentially volunteer at. BYE!
