The Adventures Of Sally: Book 3: Making My House!
Hey, welcome to my book! My name is Callie, and we are going to make me a house! Like, I need a house really bad. Mobs spawn near my spawn point. And I have to kill them. The phantoms try to kill me, too! So I needed to make a roof! Anyway, I like orange. So, I needed to find badlands biome. There was one two hundred blocks away. I flew there, and collected over half a stack of orange terracotta. I also needed white terracotta. So I took some. Then I learned I could smelt clay block to make terracotta. So I decided to live near a river. I also needed dark oak wood. I knew for a fact that I could find dark oak near mushroom trees. So I got the wood, and peeled the wood. It would be adorable.
I needed quartz! So I needed to go to the nether! So I needed obsidian! So I needed iron, lava, and water! It was a complicated process, I'll tell you that. I dug to y four, and still didn't find iron. So I had to dig down to y seven. Then I finally found twelve iron. Actually, there was thirty-five, but I only took twelve. I had a lot of cobblestone from digging down. Thirty-six pieces. I could make exactly four furnaces. Professional Minecraft players get as much as they can. So I took all the furnaces. I placed one down, and smelted the iron. I didn't want to waste my coal, so I put my wood in there. Finally I had twelve pieces of smelted iron. I made a bucket, and started digging down. Then I got some water. I will never forget how hard the process was. I took some lava, and put it down. I finally had obsidian! I had twelve pieces. That was enough. I had mined lots of gravel, so I could make flint and steel. I lit up the portal. I could finally get into the Nether. I had tried so hard. This'd better not fail me now.
I held my breath, and then hopped into the portal. I spawned on the best place possible. Uh huh. The best place ever. I spawned right in a lava fall. So lucky. And a ghast was right there. "So, mister. Do you want me to do this the hard way? I spent a million years trying to light this and get the obsidian." The ghast nodded and said, "I'm gonna blow your portal up and you'll be sorry!" "For what?" I shouted. "You killed my friend!" "Who was that?" "You killed a skeleton named Skelly, by any chance?" "Uhh......." I hopped back in the portal, and stocked up on some cobblestone. Twenty stacks. No ghast will spawn in there now. So I went into back into the lava fall. Ghaster was still there. I named him that. I made a little base, ten blocks high the walls, and the width thirteen. It was nice. And I added an iron door so that some naughty little piglins couldn't come in. I added a stone button on each side.
Then I opened the door to bridge to an island. Yes. I opened the door. Turns out, magma cubes love lava. And I had made a teensy bridge. Only three blocks long. But some sneaky creatures decided to hop onto my small bridge. So when I opened the door, a huge magma cube jumped onto my platform. I had an enchanted gold sword. Enchanted with knockback two. Not very good, right? But at least when I hit it five times, it dropped two magma creams. I needed those. But I also needed to make a brewing stand. And I could make the magma creams really easy cause I was right next to a swamp biome. And I'd have to visit the nethere a lot. But I didn't care. I could finally go and grab the quartz I'd been wanting. And then I remembered: "Cal, you forgot your enchanted gold pick." I can't believe I forgot! I bring the gold sword and pick to me every time I take a trip to the nether. I mean, sure, I hadn't made the portal, but LK had spared gold armor and gold tools. (even a gold hoe!)
I went into the portal again. And got the armor and tools. Then I went back, and quickly closed the door. I bridged across, and found some quartz. I grabbed it all. The total was two stacks. Then I ran back. And went back into my safety base. Then I got distracted. "Y'know," I said to myself. "I don't exactly have a lot of XP. And I need blaze rods and blaze powder." So, I decided to make a blaze farm. I had in fact seen a mansion. So why not make a blaze farm out of it? So I did. It took about two hours, but I did it. And it worked! But it was kind of ugly. So I had to do something to it. There was a warped forest right near me. But.. I needed to finish my house. And I had quartz. But that was for my house! So I made up my mind. First I had to go and make my house. So I hung my head and went back to my portal and went into the overworld. And relaxed. I guess I did that too soon. It was sunset. Luckily I had lots of wool and planks. So I crafted a bed. And tried to sleep. But it wasn't time yet. Still two more minutes. Then I forgot. I had wool so I quickly made a tiny little hole right next to the nether. So I made a tiny bed. And slept. Finally.
So I started building. The quartz was a nice touch with the terracotta. The dark oak was blending very well with the quartz. Let me just say, dark oak and quartz is so pretty. I needed cobble so I could finish the roof. So I mined until dawn. And you know what I found? Diamonds. Eight diamonds. So I mined them with my pickaxe. I got thirty three diamonds out of that! I don't want to add them in. So this is my starter house for now. Look out for my next adventure: "How To Make Amazing Farms".
