The Adventures Of Sally: Book 2: Exotic Animal Adventure

Hello, dear readers. My name is Callie. I changed my name. Since my last adventure, I have decided to get a few wonderful pets. Cause when your a builder and a miner, you need someone to keep you company. Since my lovely friend LK left me to do some other adventures, I am on my own. And my wolf I had, well, he exploded from a creeper. I had made a list of pets I needed:

Cat

Dog

Chicken

Sheep

Cow

Fox

OK, now I needed to find the pets. I know cats live in villages, or next to the water. I was just next to a beautiful village. Like, five blocks away. Yes, I had planned for this. I always keep my journal next to me. Also, there was a lake next to the village where I could catch fish. I did not want to go into the ocean and have to combat drowned for some fish, so I waited until night for spiders to come out. Let me tell you, I'm not big on spiders. In fact, I really hate them. The way they go around on there creepy eight legs.... Lets not dwell on that right now. So I was on a village roof at night, and a skeleton spawned there with me. Since when does that happen? Well, it happened now. So I fought the skeleton with my hand. Yes. I had forgotten my sword. Maybe it was a good thing the skeleton had spawned there. But where would I find a sword? Well, I luckily had four cobblestone and twelve sticks. So I crafted two stone swords. Just then, I saw a spider. Finally! I don't know what I was thinking, but I fell onto the floor and took two hearts of fall damage. Good thing not all my hearts. So, I took out my stone sword, and it was combat time.

So the spider acted first (why wouldn't he?). I acted next. I hit him with a swift move, and he shattered. His small legs fell. His angry red eyes kerplunked. I had defeat him. I collected my points, but where was the string? Oh. He hadn't given me string. Only a spider eye. Well, at least I could turn it into a fermented spider eye and give myself a lovely potion of harming which I could use to get string from the spiders. So I did just that. (OK, maybe I got a little distracted.) While I trotted a long, looking for a nether portal, I found a swamp. Ooh, I said to myself. What if there is a swamp hut? Also, I could use a few slime balls for leads. So I went into the swamp, waited for a full moon, and set out to kill some slimes. I managed to get fifteen slime-balls, which, if you ask me, is a pretty decent amount. Maybe I could also leash the spiders and finish them off. I also found a witch hut, which looked pretty interesting. There was probably a witch, a black cat, and a brewing stand. What a win-win! So I killed the witch and got a potion of swiftness. Yay. That wasn't very exciting. I used sprint and sprinted back to the village. There was a black cat. It wasn't tamed, and it would forever stay sitting until I tamed it. So, I killed a few spiders and ended up getting loads of string. As in, a stack and a half. I only had to kill like, a hundred twelve spiders for that. I crafted myself a fishing rod, and went into business.

I got twelve cod, three salmon, two pufferfish (which tried to kill me), and one tropical fish. I'm really lucky about the tropical fish thing. Anyway, I decided the hut was too far from the village. So I looked everywhere, and wasted a bunch of sticks making ladders to look even on the roofs of the houses. That's when I realized it was night time. And that I'd drunk a potion of night vision. The potion had wore off, and now I was in the middle of the night looking for some cats. That was pretty much pointless. So I stole a villagers bed and camped out there for the rest of the night. Sure, some zombies tried to intrude the village, but I didn't mind. My sword did a lot of damage. I guess a few bony creatures had come along with arrows, because the arrows attacked my chest, and I staggered with pain. I needed a health potion. Or maybe I needed some defense. I crafted myself stone armor. I didn't have arrows or a shield, so this had to do for now. So I opened the door just a crack, and the zombies couldn't get in, and I couldn't get out. Perfect.

So I used my pretty bad stone sword and retrieved some enchanted gold armor. Unfortunately for me, I had forgot all about the skeleton that I had named Skelly. "Your gonna pay for what you did to my friend the creeper." she murmured under her breath. Oh yeah. I'd forgotten. Once, when I was in a cavern, minding my own business. Then, a creeper waltz inside my hidey-hole, and was like, "Kill me!" So why not? It was willingly asking. So I killed it. Skelly was right next to me, watching the whole scene. She was going to shoot me, when I quickly scampered out of the cavern. Anyway, enough story time, now lets get back to what I did. She had picked up some leftover leather armor that I hadn't bothered to pick up from the zombies. "Ready for combat?" she sneered, sure of herself. "I'm ready." I sighed. She shot me with one of her bows. She had put a potion of poison on that arrow, by the way. That hurt a lot. It shot through me, like I was a kind of target. But I had some stone armor and a sword. So when she didn't fire arrows, I hit her with my sword. I killed her, and got a few bones. That would be useful for dogs. But now I had to adopt like three cats. So in case they got blown up, drowned, or died from fall-damage, at least one of them would be alive. Maybe I needed four. Well, lets try and get one for now. So, I wandered out, making sure it was not night time. And that I hadn't drunk any night vision potions. I found a cat, brought out my cod, and waited for it to slowly walk towards me.

It took four tries, and the cat finally got tamed. I have to say, I'd never seen one like it. It had a white underbelly, and light brown fur. It had dark brown stripes on its fur. So it was a tabby. It's eyes were yellow. Now I needed a nametag, because that would be cute. I did some research and learned that tamed cats can't despawn. So, I leveled a librarian up to master, and bought myself two name tags. Let me just say, it wasn't cheap. I'd needed one more nametag, though. But first I needed to find a second cat. "Here, kitty kitty kitty!" I murmured, holding out more cod. Eventually, a cat came. This cat was white, but one eye was green, the other blue. I knew what I wanted to name him right away. But before I tell you that, we need to find another cat. I found one right in the corner of a house. It was light brown with light blue eyes. This one will be a girl, for sure. Anyways, I made myself an anvil. Then I renamed there names. The first one was named Brownie, the second one Sprinkles, and the third, Princess.

Now one was off my list. Second, a wolf/dog. I could find a wolf in Taiga biomes, which I was right next to. Only about twenty blocks away. So I got myself a horse, lumped a saddle on it, and we went on a ride. A few blocks later, I found two wolves in the forest. I got out my bones, and fed them the bones. I had tamed them, because they gave me love hearts. We rode back towards the village. It was becoming sunset, and I really didn't want to die and lose all my progress. So, when the sun was setting, at my last minute, we rode into the village. I snuck in a blacksmith's bed and looked out the door. I quickly slept, and made another anvil because I'd lost my first one in other houses. I could make anvils because I have a bunch of iron. Like, we're talking ten stacks. Anyways, I bought more of the nametags. You might be wondering how I got so many emeralds. Well, my friend LK stocked me up with them. Like twenty stacks. She's rich. Anyway, I made them into lovely names. The first ones name was Rosie, and the second one, Isabella.  A chicken will be so easy that I won't have to break a sweat. So, I need to make an automatic egg farm. How do I make that? Simple. Hoppers, and chests. Chickens and wheat. It's very easy. Anyways, I made that farm. I fed the chicken wheat seeds, and it planted an egg in the hoppers. The chests under the hoppers fed the chest in the front. Now I had a bunch of eggs. I had a wheat farm, so it would be easy to get a lot of chickens and cakes out of this.

Sheep would be even easier. So I guided the sheep into my house. "Here, sheepy sheepy sheepy!" I called. The sheep followed me. I quickly made a pen, and shooed the sheep in there. I picked an orange tulip and dyed the sheep orange. Then I smelted raw iron. I took the ingots and made shears. I was about to shear the sheep, but then the moon decided to turn up. Zombies spawned in and tried to kill me. It had diamond armor. And it was enchanted! So I had a hard time hitting him. Once I finished him off, I got his armor. Yes!! I put it on. I was getting very distracted. So I had to shear the sheep. Then I got orange wool. I crafted a bed. It was my favorite color, so it was perfect for me. Then it was time to lead a cow. I got my wheat, and led the cow into the pen with the sheep. That was a bad mix. Anyway, I'd gotten more then two raw iron. In fact, I'd gotten thirty raw iron. What? There was a whole vein! I couldn't resist. There was more in the vein. Anyway, I crafted a bucket. I had installed a mod where I could dye buckets and make them customizable. So I dyed the bucket yellow with a star in the middle. It was adorable!

I milked the cow, and bought two nametags. I made the cows' name Lulu, and the sheep Linda. Now I needed a fox. There were two I wanted. An arctic fox, and a normal fox. So off I went, into the taiga biome. There were foxes all around me. But I couldn't tame them because I didn't have any sweetberries. So I found some, but I became really slow. I was confused for a little bit, and then I figured out that the sweetberry bushes were making me slow. So I tried to avoid them. Sadly, I didn't manage to do so. It was night time, but I was so slow that I didn't think I could even plant my bed somewhere. So I spent the night skeletons taking advantage of my slowness, and spiders trying to kill me. Finally, it was sunrise. Unfortunatley, creepers come if you don't sleep. A creeper tried to blow up my pen. "No no no no no no no!" I screamed. I kicked it out. Then I decided to mine the bushes of sweetberry. Once I did that, I found the normal foxes. Then I fed it five sweet berries. Then I flew with my elytra to a snowy taiga biome. It was only a few thousand blocks away. It's pretty rare, so I was proud. Then, I landed. It took about ten minutes to find one, and once I did it started to run. "Wait!" I squealed. "Don't go!" I took out my berries, and the sweetheart slowly started walking towards me. I fed it twelve, and then put a lead on it. I flew into my house. Now I was safe.

Goodbye, dear reader. The next book will be making a house. I don't actually have a house, but that was what I called my spawn for now.
